Day 13: Burgos to Hornillos del Camino
I only had a shortish walk of 21 km planned for today, so there was no need to get up too early, especially since the forecast temperature was 5 degrees. Also, breakfast at 7:00 am was included in the accommodation price. So, I was all packed and ready for breakfast at 7:00, but Fawlty decided that breakfast would be maybe 7:30. I elected to not wait!
It was a pleasant walk out of Burgos, although it was cold all morning, with the wind not helping
Walkways eventually went off-road, vaguely following motorways for a while...
... some impressive artwork on the sides of buildings...
... and a lovely chapel with some blessing nuns...

... and then into what I think of as typical meseta, based on what I've seen on YouTube
My stop for the night is the little village of Hornillos del Camino, basically a main street with several albergues and two bars
